Our Texas National Bank employees volunteered every night at the ticket gate at this year’s RGV Livestock Show Rodeo. TNB is also a proud Sponsor of the Mutton Bustin event, and Rico the Roadrunner was also present cheering on kids and giving out TNB shirts!
Our Texas National Bank team does it again! We placed 2nd with our float at the 2018 RGV Livestock Show Parade “Educating Youth, Promoting Agriculture.”
Traveling Back in Time was the theme for the 50th Annual Fiesta Edinburg Parade! TNB traveled back to the 80’s with our colorful outfits, high pony tails and DJ Rico playing the most rad tunes! We received 2nd place with our parade float and had a great time dancing and singing.
If you went to Smokin’ on the Rio this year you probably saw TNB at the ticket booth. This year employees helped with selling tickets to the Friday night Tracey Lawrence concert It was a packed show with a great turnout at the BBQ pits!
This year Texas National Bank was honored to have our very own Peggy Chavez of the Mercedes branch awarded with the Woman of the Year. Peggy is very involved with the community as she is the Mercedes’ Lions Club President. Congratulations on receiving such a prestigious award – it is very well deserved!
Every year Mission shows its appreciation for the awesome Winter Texans who come down to visit. Our Mission branch was front and center as we hosted a booth and gave out some great prizes. Even Rico made some new friends!
TNB employees volunteered at the 2018 Miss Mercedes and Junior Miss Mercedes Pageant! They assisted at the door, selling programs to the attendees and with the contestants.

TNB was a proud sponsor of the Texas Citrus Parade and our float came in 2nd place! This year’s theme was Hawaiian Pirate Adventures and TNB staff and Rico, the Roadrunner had a blast dressing up for the part!
As of Thursday, April 16th, the $349 billion authorized for SBA Paycheck Protection Program loans has been fully exhausted. While the SBA is no longer accepting applications for PPP loans, you may continue to submit your completed application to SBAPPP@texasnational.com.
Pending Applications:
Applications previously submitted to Texas National Bank but not yet submitted to SBA will be placed in a holding queue should the funds be replenished through new congressional legislation. To date TNB has submitted well over 90% of the applications considered complete up to 4/15/2020.
Self Employed/1099 Income Earners:
Please take note that 1099 applications and/or self employed applications require additional documentation in accordance to newly issued guidance by the US Treasury. Please reach out to your lender to make sure you have submitted your 2019 Sch. C form (found in your 1040 Income Tax Return). If you have not filed your return please visit our website for a blank version to complete.
