Saul Ortega
Saul Ortega is a 1980 graduate of Edcouch-Elsa High School. He attended Pan American University (now UT-RGV) in Edinburg and obtained a B.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Accounting in 1984. Mr. Saul Ortega has nearly 30 years of banking experience. He owns several car washes and is an investor in real estate and oil and gas. Saul Ortega was elected as a Director of TNB in August 2009 and has served as Chairman of the Board since April 2010. Mr. Ortega has also served as the bank's CEO since July 2016. He is a voting member of all board committees and is Chairman of the L&D Committee, Investment Committee, and Asset & Liability Management Committee.
Lamar Strong
Lamar Strong attended UTPA (Now UT-RGV) and graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He is President and CEO of Strong Structural Steel and has been in this line of business since 2000. In July 2008, Mr. Strong was appointed as a Director of TNB and serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors. He is also a voting member of all board committees and Chairman of the Compensation Committee and the Audit & Compliance Committee.
Ricardo Perez
Ricardo Perez attended Texas Southern University Law School and graduated in 2004. He has his private practice and specializes in criminal, real estate, taxation and securities law. Mr. Perez was appointed as a Director in August 2011. He is a voting member of all board committees and is Chairman of the Insurance Committee.

Mr. Quiroga is a 1997 graduate of Edinburg North High School. He attended the University of Texas Pan American (now UT-RGV) and graduated in 2000 with a B.S. in Finance. He has over 15 years of banking experience. Mr. Quiroga has been a Director of the Bank since 2008 and was appointed President in 2009. As of December 2016, Mr. Quiroga also assumed the role of Senior Lender. He is a voting member of all board committees, except the Compensation Committee.

Dr. Heriberto Alanis is a graduate of The University of Texas at Galveston. He is an Emergency Physician, Critical Care Specialist with over 16 years of experience. Dr. Alanis joined the TNB board over 8 years ago. He is a voting member of all board committees and is Chairman of the Technology Committee.

Kellye L. Ortega
Kellye L. Ortega is a 1984 graduate of Edinburg High School and a 1992 graduate of the University of Texas-Pan American (now UT-RGV) with a BA in Accounting. She was appointed as a Director of the Bank in November 2017 and is a member of all board committees except the Loan & Discount Committee. Ms. Ortega served on the Board of Directors of the Museum of South Texas History in Edinburg, and St. Matthew's Episcopal School as Secretary of the Board. She is actively involved in several other non-profit organizations of the surrounding communities, including the Texas Citrus Fiesta in Mission and the Hidalgo County Cotillion where she has served on the Advisory Board since 2008. Ms. Ortega is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Hargill, Texas.

Mr. Quintanilla attended Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Studies, and graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer and a registered professional land surveyor. He is the owner and president of Quintanilla, Headley and Associates, Inc., a civil engineering and surveying company, and has over 25 years of successful experience. He was elected as Director of TNB in August 2021.

Myrhanda attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Sciences. She then attended UT-RGV and graduated in 2017 with a Masters’ Degree in Communication. She joined Texas National Bank in November 2016 and was appointed as a Director of the Bank in June 2020. Myrhanda is a voting member of all board committees.
