We are… Outstanding!

Did you know that Texas National Bank is Outstanding?

Let’s dive into what that means….

The Officer of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC’s) definition of the National Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Outstanding Rating is as followed:

“Texas National Bank (TNB) has an outstanding record of meeting community credit needs, and is a leader in, ascertaining and helping to meet the credit needs of its entire delineated community, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, in a manner consistent with its resources and capabilities.”

This Outstanding CRA Rating shows that TNB has been successful, effective, and responsive to the credit and community development needs of its customer and the community it serves, the RGV.  The quality of its products and services are meeting the needs of this area and small businesses in the Rio Grande Valley.

Texas National Bank is examined for CRA performance on a 3-year (36 month) cycle and has maintained this outstanding rating for the past 6 years!

The National Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) performance ratings for the past 36 months of National Banks examined by the OCC show that only 27% of banks (1 of 10 Banks) achieved an Outstanding Rating while the remaining 73% achieved a rating of Satisfactory or below.
